How stress can impact your health and lead to chronic diseases?

We all must have experienced stress at various degrees in our lives at various occasions due to various reasons. Let us see what stress is and how it can be cured naturally.

What is Stress?
The intensity that is building up internally when we are caught in a situation where there is no immediate solution to the problem. When we feel overloaded or the pressure that is placed upon us is too much to cope, then that is stress.

Take an example of a deer and a tiger in a forest. A hungry tiger sees a deer and chases it. Tiger is stressed due to hunger and it is desperate to kill the deer. Deer is stressed as its life is at danger and it is running for its life. Both of them are stressed and the resulting action is a violent and painful one for both.
But stress poses a great threat to our health and well-being.

Internal and External Stress
Stress can be both internal and external. The way you respond to a challenge may also become a stress. When you come to know that you are being fired from your job, or lose money in share market, it can be a source of stress the way you respond to it.

External stress can be due to noises, traffic jam, deadlines, dealing with unpleasant people, speeding car, nagging phone calls etc. Sometimes dealing with children can also be a stressful experience.
